Sell your pool and facilities to people who are not staying the night

Day Pass lets a hotel sell same-day access to its pool, bar or facilities to visitors who have no reservation. The front desk takes the payment, the visitor gets a QR pass, and the money is recorded through the same payment and ledger path as room revenue. It turns spare daytime capacity into revenue on days when occupancy is low.

What a day pass is

A paid ticket for someone who wants your pool, bar or facilities for the day but is not sleeping in a room. Common for city hotels with a rooftop, resorts with spare daytime capacity, and any property whose facilities sit empty midweek.

Selling one at the desk

Reception picks the pass, takes payment and hands over a QR code. The visitor scans it at the pool or the entrance. No reservation is created, because there is no room involved.

Where the money is recorded

Through the same payment and ledger path as a room booking. Day pass income shows up in the same reports as everything else, so a manager can see what facilities actually earn instead of guessing.

When it earns its keep

On low-occupancy weekdays, the marginal cost of one more person at the pool is close to nothing and the revenue is real. Day Pass exists so that selling it takes twenty seconds and lands in the accounts correctly.
