How does FluxPMS bill your hotel for the software?

FluxPMS bills your hotel one flat subscription — Essential $29, Professional $79 or Ultimate $199 per month in USD — charged through Stripe by credit or debit card. There is no per-room fee, no per-booking fee and no percentage of your revenue. The 30-day free trial starts when you register at fluxpms.com/register; a card is required to start it, nothing is charged until day 31, and cancelling before then costs nothing.

Annual billing on FluxPMS is $290 for Essential, $790 for Professional and $1,990 for Ultimate. Each is ten times the monthly rate, so two months are free on every plan. What is the difference between your FluxPMS subscription and your guests' payments?

They are two completely separate money flows in FluxPMS, and confusing them is the most common misunderstanding about hotel software billing. Your FluxPMS subscription is money your hotel pays FluxSoft Technologies. Your guests' payments are money your guests pay your hotel — FluxPMS records them and never touches them.

How do guest payments work inside FluxPMS?

FluxPMS records every guest payment against the reservation and the accounting ledger, whatever form it arrives in — cash at the front desk, a card run on the hotel's own terminal, a bank transfer, or any other method the hotel already accepts. The front desk logs the amount, the method and the date; FluxPMS posts it to the reservation folio and the ledger in the same write. Restaurant and bar charges posted to a staying guest's room folio go through that same single ledger path, so the folio and the accounts never disagree.

FluxPMS does not require a specific payment gateway in order to record a guest payment. A hotel in Guatemala taking cash in quetzales and a hotel in Spain running a Visa terminal in euros both work the same way: the money is received by the hotel, and FluxPMS is the record of it.

Does FluxPMS lock your hotel into one payment processor?

No. FluxPMS does not lock a hotel into a single payment processor for guest charges and does not take a percentage of guest payments. If the hotel already has a card terminal or a preferred local payment provider, it keeps using it — FluxPMS does not force a replacement and does not sit between the guest and the hotel's bank.
