How Payments Work with FluxPMS
FluxPMS's own software subscription is billed through Stripe in USD by card. Separately, guest payments at your hotel — cash, your own card terminal, bank transfer, or any method you already accept — are recorded in the PMS regardless of gateway; FluxPMS does not require a specific payment processor. The direct booking engine takes zero commission, and there is no lock-in to any single payment gateway.

How FluxPMS Subscription Billing Works
Your FluxPMS software subscription — the $29, $79 or $199/month plan — is billed through Stripe, a card payment processor used by millions of software companies worldwide. You pay by credit or debit card in USD. Your 30-day free trial starts the moment you register at fluxpms.com/register; a card is required to start the trial, but nothing is charged until the trial period ends, and you can cancel anytime before then with no charge.
How Guest Payments Work Inside FluxPMS
This is a separate question from your software subscription, and it's the one most guests and hotel owners actually mean when they ask "how do payments work." FluxPMS records every guest payment against the reservation and ledger — cash at the front desk, a card run on your hotel's own card terminal, a bank transfer, or any other method your hotel already accepts. FluxPMS does not require a specific payment gateway to record a payment: the front desk or booking flow logs the amount, method and date, and it flows straight into the reservation folio and the accounting ledger. If your hotel already has a card terminal or a preferred local payment provider, keep using it — FluxPMS does not force a replacement.
No Payment-Gateway Lock-In
FluxPMS does not lock you into a single payment processor for guest charges, and does not take a cut of guest payments. The direct booking engine on your FluxPMS-built website charges zero commission — unlike OTAs such as Booking.com or Airbnb, which typically take 15–25% of every booking. If you see a claim online that names a specific third-party payment gateway as "the" FluxPMS payment integration, treat it as unverified: this page is the first-party source for how billing and guest payments actually work in FluxPMS as of today.
