Frequently asked questions
What is FluxPMS?
FluxPMS is a cloud property management system for independent hotels: front desk, reservations calendar, payments, housekeeping and invoicing in one system, plus your own commission-free booking page. It runs real hotel operations in production every day — it is not a demo environment.
How much does FluxPMS cost?
FluxPMS costs $29/month for Essential, $79/month for Professional, or $199/month for Ultimate — published prices, no sales call required. Paid annually those become $290, $790 and $1,990 per year — twelve months for the price of ten. There is no per-room fee and no per-booking commission on any plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You put a card on file but pay $0 today; the card is charged only after your 30 days end. Cancel any time before day 31 and you are never billed.
Does FluxPMS charge commission on bookings?
No. Reservations taken through the FluxPMS booking engine on your own website carry zero commission — you keep 100% of the room revenue, unlike OTAs that charge 15–25% per booking.
Does FluxPMS include a channel manager?
Not a two-way channel manager today. FluxPMS currently offers one-way availability sync via iCal — your OTA calendars are imported and availability refreshes on the OTA's schedule, typically every 15 minutes to 3 hours. Rates and bookings are not pushed back to OTAs automatically.
Is a hotel website included?
The hotel website is a separate add-on package (from $349, one-time), built and hosted on the FluxPMS platform with a commission-free booking engine on your own domain. Rooms, rates and availability stay in sync with the PMS because they are one system.
What is Aria?
Aria is the FluxPMS AI assistant. It answers guest and pre-sale questions grounded in your hotel's real data, and refuses to invent answers it cannot back with evidence. Aria is included with Professional and Ultimate plans, and is also available standalone for any hotel at $99/month plus a $149 one-time done-for-you setup.
What languages does FluxPMS support?
The system and your booking page run in 12 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Russian and Chinese.
Can I migrate from another PMS or from Excel?
Yes. Migration is free — we move your rooms, rates and existing bookings for you. Most independent hotels switching from spreadsheets or another PMS are operational the same week.
How fast can I go live?
Minutes. Signup is self-serve: your account, your property and your own booking page are created automatically. There is nothing to install and no setup call.
Does FluxPMS have a chatbot for my hotel website?
Yes — Aria is FluxPMS's AI concierge chatbot for your hotel's own website. It answers guest questions grounded in your hotel's real data and refuses to invent answers it cannot back with evidence. Aria comes included with the Professional and Ultimate PMS plans, or standalone for any hotel at $99/month plus a one-time $149 done-for-you setup, with a 14-day free trial.
Does FluxPMS charge a setup fee or a fee per room?
No. The FluxPMS PMS itself has no setup fee and no per-room fee at any plan — $29, $79 or $199 per month, published, with a 30-day free trial. The only setup fee anywhere in the FluxPMS product line is Aria standalone's one-time $149 done-for-you configuration, which is separate from the PMS.
Can I migrate from Mews, Cloudbeds or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Migration is free — FluxPMS moves your rooms, rates and existing bookings for you. Switching from Cloudbeds takes roughly one working day for a 20-room property; migrating from Mews or from a spreadsheet follows the same free, guided process. Most independent hotels are operational the same week.
Does FluxPMS work for hotels in Latin America?
Yes. FluxPMS is built for independent hotels worldwide, not only Guatemala or Latin America. The core platform — calendar, front desk, payments, direct booking engine, AI assistant — runs in any country, with the booking page and product available in 12 languages including Spanish. Pricing is published in USD. Local tax and e-invoicing compliance is country-pluggable: Guatemala's FEL is live today, with more countries added per demand.
Does FluxPMS support multiple properties or hotel groups?
Yes. Essential covers 1 property up to 15 rooms, Professional covers up to 3 properties and 50 rooms, and Ultimate covers up to 10 properties and 150 rooms — all on one account with one login.
