FluxPMS vs Hotelogix: Published Flat Price vs Per-Room Quote

Hotelogix is a long-running, budget-positioned cloud PMS with a large install base among small independent hotels, priced per room (roughly $8-$18/room/month per third-party review sources) with an exact quote available only after contacting sales, plus a 15-day free trial. FluxPMS takes a different approach: three flat, published monthly tiers — $29, $79 and $199 — with no per-room fee, zero booking commission, a full hotel website included from the Professional annual plan, the Aria AI assistant, and a 30-day self-serve free trial with no sales call required. If a per-room quote works out cheaper for your specific room count and you don't mind a sales conversation, Hotelogix is worth evaluating; if you want to see the exact price before you sign up, FluxPMS publishes it.

Hotelogix does not publish exact plan prices on its own pricing page — it asks buyers to contact sales, citing "your hotel's size and the type of third-party integrations you require" (hotelogix.com/pricing.html, checked July 2026). Third-party review sources report per-room pricing starting around $8/room/month with plan minimums (roommaster.com/blog/hotelogix-pricing). Treat exact figures as approximate and reverify with Hotelogix directly before comparing.

Who Hotelogix Is For — and Where It Stops Fitting

Hotelogix is a long-running, budget-positioned cloud PMS with a large global install base, particularly among small independent hotels that want a lower per-room cost and are comfortable with a sales conversation to get there.

Choose Hotelogix if:

  • You run a very small property where a per-room price ends up cheaper than a flat plan
  • You want a built-in channel manager module without adding a separate vendor
  • You don't mind a sales call to get your exact quote

FluxPMS is the better fit when:

  • You want to see the exact price before you sign up — $29, $79 or $199/month, published, no call required
  • You want a full hotel website included, not just a booking widget
  • You want the Aria AI assistant answering guest questions from your own hotel's data
  • You are in Guatemala or Latin America and want Spanish-native, WhatsApp-first support

How to Migrate from Hotelogix to FluxPMS

This takes roughly one working day for a small property.

  1. Export your data from Hotelogix. Export reservations and guest history to CSV from the reports section, and note your room types, rate plans and any active OTA connections.
  1. Set up FluxPMS. Sign up at fluxpms.com/register and rebuild your room types, rates and policies in the setup wizard (typically 1–3 hours for a small property).
  1. Import guest history. Use the FluxPMS CSV import to load past guests.
  1. Sync your OTA calendars. Today FluxPMS syncs availability via iCal — paste the iCal links from Booking.com, Airbnb and others. A full two-way channel manager is coming soon; if Hotelogix's built-in channel manager is essential to you today, keep it running in parallel during the switch.
  1. Update your booking engine link. Replace the Hotelogix booking widget on your website with the FluxPMS booking engine — or move to a FluxPMS-built website and it is wired in automatically.
  1. Run parallel for 48 hours. Keep both accounts active for two days to catch any reservations during cutover, then cancel Hotelogix.
